Shooting for ‘Piggy Gene’ by Saeed Soheili ends

Written and directed by Saeed Soheili, ‘Piggy Gene’ has wrapped up shooting stage.

The film that had launched filming this autumn has closed the project in about two month time.

The first frame of the flick featured Iranian famous actor Jamshid Hashempour and not the final shot has Hadi Hejazifar, Sina Mehrad and Nazanin Bayati, the trio that forms the main cast members.

Among the aforementioned actors, Bayati is already a known figure to ifilm viewers as she has been in a number of films aired by the channel, including ‘Angels Come Together’ and 'The Sweet Taste of Imagination'.

The rest of the cast members are Behrang Alavi, Saba Soheili, Qorban Najafi, Alireza Mehran, Shahin Taslimi, Afshin Akhlaqi, Vahid Kermani and Elnaz Habibi who is also a household name among ifilm viewers.

According to a media report, the film has undergone editing along with the shooting stage hoping to become ready for screening during the Persian New Year holidays.
